Das mit den cards finde ich dagegen schon wieder sehr nett. Also bisher muss ich trotz allem sagen Hut ab! Sie kommen vorwärts, rücken Infos raus und gehen auf die community ein! Das ist schonmal einiges mehr als bic oftmals geschafft hat

Abenteurer!

Da wir uns dem Transfer langsam aber sicher nähern, gibt es immer noch Fragen die wir noch nicht beantwortet haben. Also, worüber sprechen wir Heute?

Ja, ich glaube ich kann es in der letzten Reihe hören! Genau, über den Preis! Als wir das letzte Mal über dieses Thema gesprochen haben, hatten wir selber nur wenig darüber nachgedacht. Mit der Zeit wurden Dinge immer klarer und wir können jetzt endlich den Transferpreis und die dazugehörigen Service ankündigen.

Was die Namen eurer Characters angeht sind wir uns einig, dass ihr eure Namen behalten solltet, zu mindestens für eure Main Characters. Deswegen haben wir entschlossen dem Transfer ein paar Kafra Operationen hinzuzufügen.

Das Warten ist vorbei, hier sind die Details: der Transfer wird 24,90€ kosten, egal wie viele Characters ihr auf eurem Account habt. Wir haben versucht eine flexiblere Lösung zu finde aber diese wäre zu kompliziert und unhandlich gewesen.

Wir freuen uns euch anzukündigen, dass die folgenden Service für Jeden in dem Preis einbegriffen sind:

- ein Transfer, nach den Regeln die wir letzte Woche angegeben haben
- drei "Character Name changes"
- ein "Character Transfer" (von einem Account auf das Andere) ODER ein "Mini Statistics Reset"

Der "Character Transfer" wurde hinzugefügt damit ihr einen Character von einem Account auf das Andere bringen könnt und so die Items die normalerweise nicht ausgetauscht werden können aufzuteilen.

Es gibt ebenfalls Spieler die MVP Cards besaßen und ihre Builds diesen Cards nach aufgebaut haben. Da diese Items (MVP Cards) nicht per Transfer übertragen werde, wollten wir den Spielern die Chance geben ihre Statistiken dementsprechend zu verändern.

Nächste Woche wird die Ankündigung ganz spezial sein: eine Q/A Session (Frage/Antwort) in der ich auf die meisten Fragen die ihr mir bis zum nächsten Freitag auf unserem Forum gestellt habt antworten werde. Also, falls euch immer noch Etwas auf dem Herzen liegt, wisst ihr was ihr zu tun habt.

3 namechanges ist zu wenig, mindestens 4 Namen von meinen chars gibts schon auf dem Server und das nicht von mir /switzen

die Namechanges sind ja dafür da um einen ganz anderen Namen zu machen...ansonsten bei nur doppelten Namen bekommen die chars wohl wieder nen präfix wie beim Loki-Chaos Transfer...schätze das läuft dann wieder nach dem Prinzip wer zuerst kommt~

Adventurers!

Time has come for the Q/A session! You have been very talkative, yet I’ve tried to answer most of your questions.

Before proceeding to the Q/A itself, here is a short summary of how the transfer conditions have been decided: in a general way, we have defined the transfer rules so that they benefit to as many players as possible. As a result, we have tried to avoid doing unnecessary operations that would take more time, especially when it comes to sorting out a low number of accounts/characters/items. The transfer has already been too long and we don’t want to postpone it forever.

Transfer rules

*Will TKM maps & monsters be part of the transfer?

I’m not sure about this. There is a chance that these memos disappear, just like Acolyte classes memos.


*Will Pets, Baby Characters, Marriages and Homunculus be transferred too?

None of them will probably be transferred. However, Baby Characters should become normal characters again, so that you can use them. While we know that Homunculi may be quite important for Alchemists, their implementation would have extended the transfer duration, which has already been too long.


*Would it be possible to convert “wedding-rings” into a coupon with which non-premium users can marry without an iShop item and premium users have to pay less money?

This could have been a nice idea, but it only matters to a few people, compared with the number of potential players waiting for the transfer.


*Would it be possible to sort out the non-zenyholder items so that those can be transferred anyway?

Some of you have pointed out this fact quite ironically, but honestly, that is right that we want to avoid having to sort out dozens of different items, unless you want the transfer to last three more months, which is out of the question.


*Which items count as quest items?

I may forget some but here is a non-exhaustive list: dungeon keys/items, items related to particular quests and which could prevent one from completing them if removed, KVM points, Battleground badges, Prize Medals…


*What will happen with the carts of the Merchants and the items in it?

They will be transferred as well.


*How do we get the items stored in the storage? Will they be transferred together with the characters or separately?

Everything will be transferred at once.


*Can there be at least a limitation for the ETC items and consumables?

Cards will be the only ETC items to survive the wipe. Without being too technical, we cannot simply say to the server “save 10 of each item and delete the rest”. In order to reduce an item amount, we have to delete it completely and then add it again 10 times, for EVERY SINGLE ITEM and on EVERY SINGLE ACCOUNT.

I know that some items play an important role for some classes (gems, potions, arrows, EDP…) but this rule shall apply to these too.


*What's going to happen with items that don't exist on fRO/have a different name/have a different effect? (Cash Gears, Jasper Crest, Beer Hat, ...)

If the item exists on our server but has a different name or effect, it shall be updated according to our database. Congratulations on your new superpowered Jasper Crest! If the item doesn’t exist on our server, high chances that it will be removed from the character.


*What’s the point in deleting slotted Sunglasses?

This item has always been considered as too powerful by Gravity, which explains why they have not created any other slotted mid-headgear in years. This explains quite simply the deletion. And while the recently-introduced slotted Elven Ears may prove that’s it is not a taboo any longer, these are still not tradable, so we are not back to the Sunglasses point yet.


*Are you going to remove the cards from the sunglasses before deleting those? (Non-MvP cards)

Yes, but this shall be the only exception (you know my opinion about exceptions). If we happen to delete an piece of equipment because it isn’t implemented on our server, any card inserted in it will be destroyed as well.


*Can you exchange slotted Sunglasses for slotted Elven Ears?

There are a lot of these on the market and the components have been quite easy to obtain recently. You shouldn’t have any difficulty finding a pair.


*Would it be possible to transfer the (PvM) MvP cards for an extra fee? If not, why?

I don’t have the exact numbers before my eyes, but even without counting every MVP card, we have already agreed that there were much more than there is currently on our server and thus, they wouldn't be transferred. That’s why we shall stay inflexible about this topic.

This is also true for PvM (MVP) cards that would indirectly give an undesired advantage for MVPing, and on a long term basis, help farming PVP-related (MVP) cards.

I am aware that some of them have absolutely no impact on neither PVM nor PVP aspects (ie: Moonlight Flower Card) but then, we come back to the main point: sorting out another item takes a lot of time.


*What will happen to the equipment containing MVP cards? Will the MVP card just be removed or the equipment as well?

The equipment will remain, only the MVP card will disappear.


*Would it be possible to add a Magic Card Album to everyone's inventory who used to own an MvP card on EuRO which can't be transferred due to the transfer rules?

There has been a high number of Magic Card Albums introduced to the game recently through our events. We don’t want to add more of them right now.


*Would it be possible to re-create the different guilds manually?

The guild data table was the only one we could not read at all. Therefore, we have no backup to use to recreate them manually.


*What about stolen guild names?

I’m afraid you have to find another name. Unfortunately, guild names are no registered trademark and thus can be used by anyone. If your guild name has already been taken, there is nothing we can do about this.


*You should transfer (100.000 Zeny)*(Level of the Character) per Character instead of 1.000.000 Zeny per Character. The feared inflation has already taken place!

It was one of the many options available. However, up to 10m per character was way too much to introduce, regarding the current economy. We are aware of the inflation that has started taking place but this had to be expected. The only thing we could do was doing our best to slow it down.


*If all the Zenys have been stored on one single character and the 8 other ones have 0, will the total amount of Zenys be equally divided to give each character 1,000,000?

Unfortunately not. This restriction will be handled uniformly without looking at every single account to see how the money has been divided among the characters.


*What exactly did you mean by “we'll help the people to re-create their god likes”?

While I cannot reveal our plans yet, I want you to know that we will not only help newcomers rebuilding their dismantled Godly Items. Whatever we decide to do, everyone will benefit from it. This also includes old guilds waiting to build more of these equipments.


*What about single Godly components?

They shall be deleted like other ETC items (except cards). What is the point in that? Godly-related items get a one-stage downgrade. As a result, this means already-completed Godly equipments get dismantled and are returned to their components state, and single Godly components get removed since there is no previous stage.


*Since we all expect more players, will the 2 WoE:SE towns be opened or will you go on with the alternate SE ?

If the increase in players is significant enough, we may consider opening both WoE:SE towns.


*You said ranking will be wiped. Do you mean just the old ranking or will there be a complete ranking reset to give newcomers the chance to get ranked?

As this is a transfer and not a merge, we have decided to keep the current ranking untouched. Even though it may require a bit of investment (time & money), we think it is still possible to make up for the loss and climb the forger/potter ladder.


Transfer process

*I would like to know what technically is needed for this transfer.
When you talked about a fee for the transfer, you told us about a manual recreation of our chars. Now are we going to pay for a script and some queries a guy from middle school could write?

So you actually really think we simply need to push a “Transfer” button and boom, goes the dynamite? You have no idea of the time we have spent on this transfer operation and I would have loved that the process only required some “middle-school queries”. No, the database was not delivered as a kit with a booklet and a screwdriver. I am not saying that it was provided as a puzzle on purpose, but it was far from being “ready-to-plugin” and our technical team has spent hundreds of hours on this operation. This is what the price stands for Sourire


*When is the transfer going to take place?

Here it comes, the tricky question! It’s not that we have tried to avoid it so far, but the schedule was uncertain and we didn’t want to announce a date that would come from nowhere, based on guesses, assumptions and hope. At first, we wanted to complete the process by the end of February but it eventually appeared that we wouldn’t be ready. Thank God we did not officially announce this date!

On Wednesday, March 6th, you will be able to “preorder” your transfer. This free step is not mandatory but people who will have completed it will be the first to get their transfer done when it is ready. The purpose of this phase is to help us assessing the amount of players interested in the transfer, in order to prepare ourselves and be effective on the D-Day!


*How long do you think it will take?

I am not sure I understand the question correctly. There are two possible meanings:

* - either we are talking about the preparations for the transfer, and then my previous answer should help you,
* - or the question is about how much time it takes to actually give an account back to a player. In that case, the answer would be “a couple minutes”, since we need to find the account, check the player identity, manually protect the proper items from deletion, add the extra Kafra Operations, unlock the account and send the login/password


It is also likely that we will only be able to confirm the transfers during Thursdays’ maintenance.


*Are you going to limit the time we'll have to purchase our accounts or are we free to choose whether we want to buy them now or in a year?

We cannot guarantee that the transfer will still be available in a year. However, it won’t be limited to, let’s say, 2 weeks. I think it is safe to say it should be available at least 2 months.


*Are you going to add an alternative payment system?

Yes, we are planning on adding new payment solutions in a very near future. In fact, we want to get rid of the transfer so we can focus on other tasks, like the payment system, the German translation patch, the 13.2 episode, etc.
I’m afraid these new payment solutions won’t be implemented at the time of the transfer though.


*Would it be possible to pay 200€ for our euRO accounts and get the accounts back including the infinity service offer?

No, both services are different and should be bought separately.


*Do you plan to add a quantity discount? (2 accounts for one; 1st 25€, 2nd 20€, 3rd 15€, 4th 10€ etc...)

Unfortunately not. We discussed this with our payment partner and it turned out that it would have been too complex to implement. Decreasing the price according to the number of transferred accounts would have required giving them an access to the personal details database, and we have no right to do so.


*Are you going to add a test server where we can check our characters before purchasing them? We'd like to see what the price of 24,90 Euro actually includes!

Since it would take twice as much time, I hope you understand we cannot afford to set another server up, even for this purpose.


*Will you add new/more ZoneServers?

We are constantly improving our hardware. We are monitoring the traffic and I can only see one reason right now to add more servers: a huge increase to the number of players. Being in need of new servers is actually a good problem: it means that we are growing and becoming more popular in Europe.


*Do you plan to improve the speed of the website in any way? It's pretty slow.

Yes. It is part of our next plans.


*Will there be a service upgrade after the transfer? (more GMs, in-game GM chat channel, etc.)

We have already started hiring staff! Do you really think we had a staff member take a 3-months German course and that he is now fluent? Clin d'oeil There is now a person fully dedicated to German-speaking customer support and in-game chat and the team keeps growing up!


*When will we get the Renewal update?

Before moving to Renewal, we will be implementing the 13.2 episode. We are already working on this update and you should learn more about it in the few next weeks!


Character

*Are you going to add a suffix to every EuRO character name, or just to those whose name already exists on EuRO?

The second one. Only characters with an already-existing name will get the suffix.


*Are you going to add a suffix to fRO characters too?

No.

*Are you going to change/add a suffix to characters with space characters?

Spaces shall be replaced with a _. This isn’t really nice but we cannot handle spaces, there’s nothing more to say. I don’t know the technical ins and outs but there must be a reason to this restriction~


*Would it be possible to increase the amount of name changes if a fee of 1 Euro is paid for each extra name change?

Let’s stick to one standard fee for everyone, it makes things easier.


*Does the Name change require that the character name is already taken/has a suffix, or can we change the name of characters because we just don't like it anymore?

The Character Name Change operation is a standard Kafra Operation which can be used on whichever character, whenever you want.


*(When) are we supposed to delete our name-holder characters?

You will be informed a few days before so that you can delete them and release your name.


Kafra Operations

*Are the Kafra Operations going to expire?

Kafra Operations don’t have any expiration date. You are free to use them whenever you want.


*Would it be possible to lower the price (individually) if you disclaim the additional Kafra Operations?

The fee stands for the transfer itself, it doesn’t include the Kafra Operations. They are free, no reason to disclaim them!


*Would it be possible to add additional Kafra Operations (Name Change, Character transfer, etc.) for an additional fee (lower than the Kafra Operation price)?

We do not feel the special transfer offer should include more services. As said earlier, only characters whose name is already taken on the server will get a suffix: this should make the three names changes more than enough to restore your name to something better.


Account/Slots

*How are you going to sort out who owns which account legally? Which information are required to get back our accounts?

Players wishing to retrieve an account will have to provide its login, password and the names of the main characters (a minimum of 3). If the Support team still has some doubts, they may ask for the characters levels. Finally, we will be asking for a copy of an ID document (ID card, passport, driving license, family record book is you are under 15), so that we can properly register the newly transferred account.


*If a character from account A (female) is going to be transferred to account B (male), which gender will the the targeted account have after transferring the character?

No worries, both accounts will have the same gender. Remember that it’s not a merge: we will be creating a brand new account to host your characters.


*Can you choose which slot your character is going to end at when you use the Character Transfer Operation?

No, but does it really matter? Sourire


*If a character from account A, slot 3 is moved to account B, will the other characters on account A (slot 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) move one slot to the left or remain in their positions as they were before account transfer?

Other characters slots will remain the same.


*Would it be possible to allow us to reorganize our character slots?

No, it would take a lot of time and it is not really necessary.


*Are slot 8 and 9 included in the 24,90 Euro?

Yes, definitely. It is neither your fault nor ours if these slots were opened for free on your former server, but we feel like we cannot forbid you to play with slots 8 & 9 chars. Please note this will be included even if you don’t have chars on these slots yet. As I said earlier, we don’t want to waste time on countless exceptions, and this principle applies here too.


*Would it be possible to merge two EuRO accounts (if they don't have more than 9 characters in total) and just pay for one account?

With the current ongoing process, it can’t be done.


*Are you going to reduce the price for people who have just 1 or 2 characters on their account?

We explored the idea of a flexible price depending on the amount of characters but it appeared to be technically incompatible with the process: all characters will be transferred at once, as the operation requires the server to be down and we obviously can’t afford to shut the server down 1 000 times.



We hope this huge post will contain the answer to your worries! Next announcements will be made before the March 6th preorders launch, so I advise you to stay tuned! Meanwhile, I will keep looking at your comments and if some detail really needs to be explained, I will try to do it.

was ich noch nicht verstanden habe... an wen wende ich mich denn?
is da schon ne mail addy gepostet worden? oder schreiben die mich an, wenn ich die kafra operation ausgelöst habe?

Wahrscheinlich wird es so ablaufen, du registriest dich neu auf der Fro Seite und gehst direkt zu den Kafra Operationen,dann kannste da wohl den Transfer auswählen und alles nötige hinterlegen.
Wenn sie sich sicher sind dass du der Besitzer von dem Account bist, schicken sie dir neue Account Daten zu.

So hab ich das verstanden, aus allen Nachrichten in der letzten Zeit.
